Fishing

Located in fisheries management zone 11, Wassi Lake is a warm, shallow lake with depths up to 5.5 meters that sustains major fish species of walleye (pickerel) , large and small mouth bass and yellow perch. There are large marshy areas and extensive weed beds along the lake perimeter which are excellent fish habitats.  The lake has been stocked with walleye by the North Bay / Mattawa Conservation Authority.
